How To Swim In Flower Fields

How To Swim In Flower Fields PINTEREST

Step 1- Travel to the Netherlands

Along with cheese, clogs and windmills, the Netherlands is known for it’s beautiful fields of rainbows, made up of hundreds and thousands of colourful flowers.

Step 2- Make sure it’s Spring

To see the flower fields in all their glory, it’s best to visit the Netherlands in the Spring. The best time to go is during the annual Keukenhof festival, which is one of the largest flower gardens in the world. This festival takes place from the end of March to the beginning of May.

Step 3- Find a flower field

It’s really not hard to find a flower field in the Netherlands. However, although we visited the Keukenhof festival (which was worth every penny) our favourite flower fields were the free ones outside the festival grounds.

Step 4- Crouch down, pretend you’re swimming and snap a picture!

This step is pretty self explanatory, but produces the funniest pictures. Here’s a little tip: pack appropriately for a chilly spring day so that you don’t have to wear all your clothes like us!
